DAY 01: AGARTALA
Arrived at Agartala airport received and check in to Hotel. Agartala the capital city of Tripura is tucked in the Northeastern part of India. Set close to the neighbouring state of Bangladesh, Agartala is rich in flora & fauna, the legendary state of Tripura is a beautiful world in itself. After lunch visit Ujjayanta Palace (the famous royal palace was built by Maharaja Radhakishore Manikya in 1901 with the huge Mughal style garden) and Jagannath Temple & Umanneswar Temple.

DAY 02: AGARTALA – UDAIPUR – AGARTALA
After breakfast, day excursion to Udaipur – the temple city of Tripura. En route visit Sipahijala Wild Life Sanctuary famous for Spectacle monkey, visit Tripura Sundari Temple (55kms), this temple is regarded as the 51 Pithas of Hindu pilgrimage, and the ruins and temples of Udaipur – the former capital of Maharaja Dhanyamanikya. Evening free at leisure.

DAY 03: AGARTALA – UNAKOTI
After breakfast, drive to Unakoti (178kms) – Unakoti is deservedly reputed for its 7th and 9th century AD stone and rock cut images, deep in the forest near Kailashahar. Unakoti literally means ‘one less than a crore’. Although the place does not have that many rock cut sculptures, but these hundreds of massive rock-cut sculptures and those made out of sandstone, besides the scattered ruins of ancient temples make Unakoti a unique place.

DAY 04: UNAKOTI – SILCHAR
After breakfast drive to Agartala. Evening at leisure.

DAY 05: SILCHAR – SHILLONG
After breakfast, drive to Shillong (185 / 7 Hrs) – located at an altitude of 1,491m above sea level is one of the largest hill stations in India and is named after its creator, U. Shyllong, a powerful deity, who is believed to have resided on the Shillong Peak. Evening visit Police bazar.

DAY 06: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE – SHILLONG
After breakfast, day excursion to Cherrapunjee (56 kms) – is known as the rainiest rain -belt in the world, located at 1300 meter above sea level. The lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves and orange honey. En route visit Shillong Peak ( the highest point in Meghalaya -1965 meters), Elephant Falls. At Cherrapunjee visit Mawsmai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Thankarang Park (overlooking Bangladesh) and Nohkalikai falls (The fourth highest fall in the World).Drive back to Shillong , evening at leisure.

DAY 07: SHILLONG – MAWSYNRAM – SHILLONG
After breakfast, drive to the hilly terrain of Mawsynram -it is a small village in the Khasi Hills is located 56 kms from Shillong, is famous for the gigantic formation of stalagmite, which resembles the shape of a ‘Shivalinga’ which is housed in a cave named as Mawjymbuin.

DAY 08: SHILLONG – GUWAHATI AIR PORT
After an early breakfast drive to Guwahati air port for onward destination.

DAY 03: AGARTALA – MELAGHAR – KAMALASAGAR
After breakfast, drive to Neermahal – the water palace built in the year 1930 by Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishormanikya, as his summer resort. It is located 53 kms from Agartala. The palace is encircled by the Rudrasagar Lake, which is visited by a large number of migratory birds in the winter season. Visit Kamalasagar Kalimandir and Agartala Museum.

DAY 04: FLY
After breakfast drive to air port for onward destination.

DAY 01: GUWAHATI – TEZPUR
Arrive at Guwahati airport , received and transferred to Tezpur ( 190 kms /6hrs) – the beautiful historical town of Tezpur is well known for its ancient temples and ruins. Evening visit Chitralekha Uddyan – houses the finest specimen of sculptural remains of 9th century.

DAY 02: TEZPUR – ITANAGAR
After breakfast, we drive to Itanagar ( 180kms /7hrs ) – located at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level is the capital of Arunachal Pradesh built in the vicinity of the ruin of the 14th century fort old capital. Evening at leisure.

DAY 03: ITANAGAR
After breakfast, full day explore Itanagar – it has an interesting museum known as Jawaharlal Nehru Museum, time spent here can really acquaint you with the culture and tradition of this region. All prototype of the bamboo and cane architectural dwelling of different tribes and apparel, design and functional tools and other handicraft are displayed here. Evening free at leisure.

DAY 04: ITANAGAR – ZIRO
After breakfast, we will drive to Ziro ( 160kms /7 hrs) – the headquarter of Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh , located at an altitude of 1560metres, is a plateau surrounded by Apatani tribal villages, Hija-Bulla -Hari and Hong villages. Hong village is counted as the second biggest and most organized tribal villages in Asia. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at Ziro.
DAY 05: ZIRO
After breakfast, we set to explore the villages of the Apatani Tribes – Hija -Bulla-Hari and Hong villages.

DAY 06: ZIRO – DAPORIZO
After breakfast, we will drive to Daporizo (180kms /9hrs) – the headquarter of the Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, located at an altitude of six hundred meters is an inhabitant of Tagin tribes. Enroute you can visit Hillmiri tribal villages at Raga. Evening at leisure.

DAY 07: DAPORIZO
Explore Tagin country towards Nacho Lymikin road.

DAY 08: DAPORIZO – ALONG
After breakfast, we will drive to Along (167kms /7hrs) – the headquarter of West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 300 meters an inhabitants of Adi ( Gallong ) tribes. The tribe Adi has different sub tribe which differs from each others like Adi (Gallong , Minyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori and Boker). Afternoon visit Kabo village. Evening at leisure.

DAY 09: ALONG
Explore the Adi( Galo) tribal villages like Kabu, Jirdam and Kaying. In Kabu one is able to see the traditional Cane Hanging Bridge. Evening free to see the local market.

DAY 10: ALONG – PASIGHAT
After breakfast, drive to Pasighat (140kms/6hrs) – the headquarter of East Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh, located at an altitude of 150 meters, an inhabitant of Adi ( Minyong) tribe. Enroute visit the Adi Galong Tribe and enjoy the great view of the confluence of Siang and Siyom rivers, which is the origin of great river Brahmaputra.

DAY 11: PASIGHAT
Full day explore Pasighat. Overnight at Pasighat.
DAY 12: PASIGHAT – DIBRUGHAR
After breakfast, drive to Dibrugarh(Assam) – crossing River Brahmaputra by country made ferry which takes five to six hours in the river Brahmaputra to reach Dibrugarh is situated on the South bank of river Brahmaputra. It is a major town and trade centre of Upper Assam and also a major tea producing and educational centre. Evening at leisure.

DAY 13: DIBRUGHAR – MOKOKCHUNG
Today we will drive to Mokokchung ( in the state of Nagaland) – located at an altitude of 1325 meters above sea level, this picturesque town is the cultural center of the Ao tribes. The Ao Nagas is famous for their colourful dances. Evening at leisure.

DAY 14: MOKOKCHUNG
After breakfast, we set to explore Longkhum – a vanguard village of the days of head hunting is situated at an altitude of 1846 meters and is 17 km from the Mokokchung town. The Aos have a belief that Longkhum is the resting place of the dead on their onward journey to paradise. Evening visit Ungma village – the biggest Ao village. According to legend, the early Aos settled here first after coming from Chungliyimti.

DAY 15: MOKOKCHUNG – TOUPHEMA
After breakfast, drive to Tuophema village (167 kms / 05 hrs) – in this village Sekrenyi festival is celebrated during the month of February. Evening cultural show at guest house.

DAY 16: TOUPHEMA
After breakfast, we set to explore the Tuophema village with local guides and visit the museum. Evening enjoy the local dance and songs.

DAY 17: TOUPHEMA – KOHIMA
After breakfast we will proceed to Kohima – the capital of Nagaland (40 kms / 02 hrs). Evening at leisure.

DAY 18: KOHIMA
After breakfast, visit the Kohima museum – rich in traditional arts and craft. After lunch visit War Memorial, Kisema village (12 km from Kohima)- it is a Naga Heritage Village, which comprises of a number of beautifully-built traditional houses and morungs (Naga boys’ dormitories), it is the venue for the Hornbill festival.

DAY 19: KOHIMA TO KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Kaziranga National Park (215 kms / 07 hrs) – a World Heritage Site and also a Tiger reserve is home to more than 80% of the world’s population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. It has a significant population of Asian Elephant and Water Buffaloes living here and also has a wide variety of fauna and avifauna in a unique habitat of mainly grasslands, close tangled and thorny rattan cane, elephant grass and tall trees of evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here. Evening free at leisure.

DAY 20: KAZIRANGA
Early morning take an Elephant ride in the Central range of the park (The central range is good for birds such as Falcate Teal, White-eyed Pochard, Grey headed Fishing Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle and Spot-billed Pelican. (Bengal Florican can also be seen in this range) , then back to the lodge. After breakfast we go for an exclusive jeep safari in the Central range of the park. After lunch Jeep Safari in Western range of the park – ideal for grassland birds and game like Rhinos and Water Buffaloes.

DAY 21: KAZIRANGA TO GUWAHATI
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati (220kms / 05 hrs), for onward destination.
